FACT! Dominic Wood was the first ever member of The Young Magicians' Club, and is
now a famous TV presenter on cbbc.
FACT! Before hitting it big time on 'Dick & Dom in da Bungalow', he starred in several television shows such as Bring it On, Jungle Run, Broom cupboard, The animal magic show and The Friday show.
FACT! He began magic when he was only 13 years old which resulted in him winning Young magician of the year, and helped him land his first presenting job.
Dom says: "The Young Magicians' Club is a terrific way of meeting new friends,
learning new magic and improving your act. It helped me get where I
am today. And, on top of all that, it's great fun too!"
Dom was in a choir when he was younger, later realising that it was magic that he wanted to do. However, Dom did try his hand at professional singing when his challenge was to write and sing a pop song and transform it into a pop video with his fellow 'Bring it on' pal Richard McCourt. Dom also faught many other challenges in the 1st and 2nd episodes, such as Becoming Cowboys, Modelling on a catwalk, Qualifying as official football referees and DJing and MCing in a nightclub.
